Developed.
The goal was to create a seamless sea-like ceramic background – combining tiles, structures, sculptures and costumes. Additionally, Tate required a fast-tracked service ahead of the exhibition’s anticipated opening day.
Delivered.
Over 7,000 white ceramic Johnson tiles were laid spanning the length of the Duveen galleries’ terrazzo floor. Also, box-like structures were built and tiled to shelf the exhibitions’ sculptures. We completed all works in 3 weeks programmed with the anticipated schedule and opening.
